Sterek Fanfic Recs Part 3

1. The Alexandrian Solution by Bexless

“I accept your body!” Stiles says hurriedly. “I accept you. Sexually.” 
There is a pause. Derek says, “Thanks.”

So this is my favorite (out of the few I’ve enjoyed) knotting fic. It’s funny and real and kinda awkward in the best Stiles kind of way. And then it gets surprisingly deliciously hot. A short porny oneshot that is surprisingly fun.

2. 9/10ths of the Law by trukinofaerii

Stiles discovers the hazards of growing up a real boy when, at heart, he’s not a real boy at all.

Stiles has never been anything but a demon. And I love me some good!demon!Stiles. But what happens when he has to reveal himself as a demon?

3. DILF by twentysomething

“Today is Scott’s first day of kindergarten and Derek is terrified.”

So if you’ve been trolling the Sterek tag this has been recced all over the place. But if you’re like me and don’t generally like kid!fics you may have avoided it. Cease! Go read it! It’s adorable and fluffy and full of developing feelings and excellent Kid!Scott and Kid!Jackson along with Dad!(technically Uncle)!ParkRanger!Derek and KindergardenTeacher!Stiles.

4. Brightness Fills Empty Space by Ellievolia

For a moment he stops and breathes, slow, measured breaths that usually help him centre himself, control himself. It’s like a full moon night, keeping himself entirely focused on his very own, personal brand of anger and hatred and disgust, and he taps into it now, hopes for the best.

It doesn’t change anything.

Derek is cursed into humanity, and from then on lies a path towards self-discovery. And Stiles.

So Stiles is the only one Derek is willing to let come around while he’s human and they bond. Developing feelings and lots of Stiles helping Derek adjust. Hurt comforty feels.

5. Touchpaper by entanglednow

Danny is bruised. Their werewolf drama has officially bruised Danny. This is the worst day ever.

So….this should be really crack!fic but it isn’t. Stiles decides that Danny needs help coping with the insanity that is their lives when Danny gets let in on the truth of all the supernatural stuff in Beacon Hills. He also decides that Derek stripping is the perfect coping mechanism. Lots of hotness of Derek stripping. Some voyeurism and Smoking Hot ending with Derek and Stiles and a bit of Danny watching.

6. Stop Me If I Say Too Much by entanglednow

Scott still seems to think that training involves jumping around until Allison looks impressed.

A moment during training with some realizations between Stiles and Derek and some understanding each other without anything being said aloud. Short and sweet and well done.

7. Every Eye Is Full of Fire by entanglednow

Derek doesn’t argue, which proves Stiles is going to die.

So this is really more gen with implied Sterek or if you like Preslash but I still wanted on this rec list. Stiles is poisoned and Derek (and the pack in a background kinda way) are trying to save him. Hurt/Comfort and through Stiles’ POV which is an interesting perspective since he’s been poisoned. Also it’s by entanglednow - so just read all the things by them (if you haven’t noticed that I like their stuff by now).

8. The Epic Love of Scott McCall by ferretbaby

Actually this isn’t about Scott’s love life, not really. It’s about the angel sent down to protect Scott’s fledgling romance and his love life.  Derek just really wishes he bought a vacuum for all these feathers.

Angel!Stiles. Then one is a bit of a guilty pleasure rec because I have a thing for wings (I blame Supernatural entirely for this fact). Stiles is there to help along Scott’s romance but Stiles is really hoping to have his own…with Derek. Good character voices and fun Wing stuff but I feel uncertain whether I would rec this for the plot so you have been warned. But wing!kink and mentions of grooming and nesting, Yay!

9. The One Where Derek Is Courting And Stiles Fears The Zombie/Werewolf Apocalypse by Im_not_a_lizard

For The Prompt: Awkward courtship funtimes! Derek is courting Stiles in the way that all male animals go about impressing their mates. Stiles is oblivious, and Scott keeps sort of helplessly hinting at what Derek is doing to little effect. Make me giggle and squeal into my pillow anon.

This fic had me giggling the entire time. Such a crack!fic with SUPER!Oblivious!Stiles. It’s silly and funny and ridiculous. Doesn’t quite match the prompt but it’s about Derek basically trying to give Stiles what he wants…and not being very successful….I’m giggling just thinking about.

10. Darling It Is No Joke by thehoyden

The first thing Stiles thinks when he opens the door is that it’s not his birthday, but someone has sent him some kind of cop stripper.

So set where Stiles a little older in an au where Derek is Sheriff Stilinski’s new deputy. There is some awkward werewolf courting and confused Stiles and developing feelings. There is also an overarching plot with a killer on the loose.
